Sorting analysis of waste paper

In a team with TB Hauer, wpa carries out wastepaper sorting analyses – so far in Upper Austria, Burgenland, Vienna, and Tyrol. Around 7 tons of wastepaper are removed from each federal state – mostly from collection vehicles – and their composition is determined by sorting by hand. The individual fractions are differentiated according to the type of paper (print products, corrugated cardboard, etc.), its original use (packaging / non-packaging) and those materials that do not actually belong in the wastepaper collection (misthrows).
